Australian Blue Cattle Dogs, also known as a Blue Heeler were bred for the rugged conditions of the Australian Outback in the 1800's to be a herding dog to nip at the heels of cattle. They are an agile, tireless worker and make an ideal pet for a hiking, jogging, energetic family.
