Emus

Emus are the second largest bird in the world, after the Ostrich, growing as high as 2m. They have two sets of eyelids, one for blinking and the other for keeping the dust out. The male emu incubates the eggs, not leaving the nest to eat or drink for up to 2 months and when born the male continues to stay with their babies for up to 12 months.
