Do you make custom plush animals?
The MOQ (minimum order quantity) for custom production runs is 1,000 units.
If you are a business, promotional agency or organisation that is looking for a customised version of a plush animal and is comfortable with this MOQ we’d love to hear from you. However, please note that it usually takes around 4 to 5 months from the time of order placement to delivery of the finished product.
A faster (and more cost effective) solution might be to tailor one of our existing animals with a scarf, ribbon or collar. Please contact us if this is of interest.
How long will it take to get my order?
Most orders are sent the next business day from our warehouse in Burleigh Heads at the Gold Coast.
After that, delivery time depends on your location and the shipping provider.
Most Eastern seaboard places usually take 2-3 days while WA and NT take 4-5 days. Express Option is available at checkout.
What's your return policy?
Given that we are confident that you will fall in love with your new lifelike plush friend, we are happy to offer a 30-day money back guarantee if you change your mind and want to return them.
In the unlikely event that you change your mind, within 30 days from date of purchase we are happy to offer you an exchange, refund or credit for change of mind, provided the item is in ‘as new’ condition and is accompanied with the proof of purchase (a copy of your email order confirmation). All refunds will be issued via the same channel as the original payment. If you don't apply the correct postage on your return you will have the shipping and handling fee deducted from the total value being returned to you.
Our address for returns is Bocchetta Plush Toys, 1/17 Rothcote Court, Burleigh Heads, QLD 4220. If you want to exchange for another animal, please include a note which one you are after. If there is a price difference, we will either credit the difference or send a payment link for the additional charge.
Bocchetta Plush Toys retains the right to make changes to the design of our animals without notice. If you do not like these changes, you are welcome to follow the instructions above for return & refund.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide. Shipping cost depends on your location as well as weight and dimension of your order.
Do you offer weighted plush animals?
Multiple studies have shown how a weighted toy helps calm the nervous system. Luckily it's very easy to make these self soothing toys using things you might already have at home. Weighted Stuffing Beads are typically used in the base of stuffed toys to add weight and keep them upright.

NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) is a Government Scheme that provides support to Australians who have a permanent and significant disability.
Where do we fit into NDIS?
Our products are generally covered under the Core Supports Purpose Category – “A support that enables a participant to complete activities of daily living and enables them to work towards their goals and meet their objectives.”
We are categorized as “low risk” and “low cost” AT (Assistive Technology) or Consumables under the codes:
0103 Assistive Products for Personal Care and Safety (Code# 03-040000919-0103-1-1)
0112 Assistive Equipment for Recreation.
How do I obtain the funding for my purchase?
Self-Managed
Individuals with Level 1 funded supports in their plan can seek advice and buy it themselves. If you are unsure of whether you can use your funding, we recommend that you contact your Local Area Coordinator.
Once you have made your purchase, log onto the NDIS portal and request reimbursement of the funds spent.
Plan-Managed
If you are unsure of whether you can use your funding, we recommend that you contact your Plan Manager.
- You can buy your furtastic friend upfront and then send the receipt to your Plan Manager for reimbursement OR
- Request for an invoice to be sent to your Plan Manager and receive your goods once payment has been processed.
Agency-Managed
- Provide your details including your Fund Number, Full Name and Date of Birth
- We will then send an invoice to the Agency.
- Receive your goods once payment has been processed.
