Westie

West Highland White Terriers are strong, sturdy and feisty and can be traced as far back as King James 1st of England and Scotland. They were originally used to hunt otters, foxes and other animals considered vermin and were bred white so that the hunters could easily see and distinguish them from their prey.  They can be stubborn and independent though do become much loved family members.
