King Charles Cavalier

King Charles Cavalier were originally bred to warm laps in drafty castles and on chilly carriage rides.  They have also been used to attract the fleas to spare their human parents from the bubonic plague.  They are the ideal family dog because they are calm, affectionate, playful and intelligent.
