Kookaburra

Kookaburras live in Eucalyptus forests and woodlands in Australia. Despite being the biggest member of the kingfisher family (growing up to 18cm in height), they use their large beak to catch snakes, lizards, small birds, mice and insects and not fish. They mate for life and raise a family together, with the older siblings helping to raise the younger babies.
