The name Schnauzer comes from the German word for āsnoutā and commonly means āmustacheā or āwhiskered snoutā because of the dogās distinctive ābeardā. They are often used as police dogs in Germany and are excellent in search and rescue operations as they can smell 220 times better than human beings.
Scoobie measures 30cm/12ā³ in length from the tip of the nose to end of tail and 14cm/5.5ā³ in height.
The stuffing for Scoobie was made using 11 recycled plastic bottles.
